Why Obama versus Clinton

Check out this video by Lawrence Lessig on why he supports Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton. According to Lessig, Obama conducts himself with more character and integrity than Clinton. It is very interesting to listen to and words such as "Rovean Democrats" hit home hard.

Thank you John Jones

how about worrying about the politics in your own country. If you have so much to say immigrate or go back to germany.

Well anonymous, that is an interesting narrow minded comment. Isn't the US currently pushing Germany to commit more troops in Afghanistan? So as long as US politicians mingle in the business of other countries, I guess it is ok for people from those countries to worry about US politics.

I could not help but to comment too, as a legal immigrant to the US, who lives, works and pays taxes here, I think we have some right to share our opinionon anything that affects us in this case the politics of the day. i thought the anonymous comment was ver narrow minded too. since this is not my blog, i will not say much

Does Germany not recieve military protection from the US? If a terrorist attacked Germany, Germany would expect the backing of the U.S.. Until you can go to war for the U.S. and die fighting for our freedom your opinion matters very little. I don't write blogs about German politics because I am not German.

You want to have opinions on our president based on who is a better speaker. Why not talk about issues that matter such as, taxes, foreign policy, military agenda, government spendiing, etc. We are not electing a movie star.

Anonymous, why do you even care what I think? I am just a little blogger, but now I have a great idea. You actually now made me decide that I need to do more than just post a blurb on my blog. I now will offer my guerrilla marketing services for free to the Obama campaign.

Thanks my friend.

Anonymous, Isn't your response in itself a bit odd? Based on your believes it appears that everyone should keep their opinion to themselves unless of course it goes inline with your ideals. So please leave no comment on someone else's blog, unless of course, you agree. :-)

OH dear me. It would appear that in the land of the free...free speech and opinion is not actually "Free" or am i missing something here. Protection from terror..Germany? I would say here is a country with it's own armies, intelligence and ability to protect itself, thank you very much. I live in America, I am an alien resident, but i adore the country and the political race is great, but lets all be honest, it's more about staged interviews, smiling big teeth and babies in arms at the right moment, than a country voting on the real reason for election. Sure there are large sections of the country who want to vote for change and non personal interest, but there are others who will vote beacause the "You tube" video is good..lol I would vote "if i could" for the one who will rid my country of corparate rape of the under-priveledged and the ability to rid control of a nations health from the greed of the Insurance companies...Did we all watch "Sicko"? Sorry to bleet on here Herbert, but you are correct in your response and approach to the anonymous poster.

Here,here.

Wow Herbert this is very heated discussion for a simple fun blog.

I am a republican I do not support Obama. I don't like his policies but you are right he is one of the best speakers in the race.

But the constitution of the United States supports freedom of speach for all people. Herbert you have a right even as a non-citizen to express your views on any topic you wish. Express on that is a right EVERYONE in America has.
